Getting Involved

"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." -- Benjamin Franklin

I chose this quote because I believe it's true. We need to get involved with our students in order for them to learn and remember their skills. I've noticed that when students are involved in classroom activities they have fun and remember what was taught rather than just listening a lecture.

I thought today was a good class session as I enjoyed seeing how my classmates did their projects. It was fun to see how much work everyone put into their projects and I came out of class with more knowledge of websites I can use for my lessons. I would really love to use many of the online resources I've learned in class, unfortunately the internet service in our schools are not very good.

  5. I love it when teachers engage students in the learning process. I am such a hands on learner so it is the teacher who engaged my hands as well as my mind whom I remember the most.
