"Every time you wake up and ask yourself, "What good things am I going to do today?," remember that when the sun goes down at sunset, it takes a part of your life with it." --Indian proverb
Every morning I wake up to get myself ready for work and the kids ready for school. Things seem so routine, so repetitious, that at times I forget to make my mark on the day. Whether it be to tell a joke, cry about something silly, or give an unexpected hug, we should all take the time to do something that will make that day memorable.

What a beautiful proverb, like a daily reminder of how we can share a little of ourselves with the people around us!
ReplyDeleteI liked this quote the first time I read it and commented on it and I like it even more with your perception of its meaning. We all need to make our marks for the day.
ReplyDeleteI've been going through the daily routines also with work and the kids. This quote is an inspiration because it makes me realize that I need to start doing things aside from the usual on a daily basis to keep my life more joyous and meaningful!
