There are many times that I have taken the beaten path and followed the flock. In life, things would be so much easier if we just all did what we were supposed to do. But what would make life more extraordinary is to do something that everyone else did not do. Sing a song when you cry. Talk to the mirror. Put a funny sticker on your student's hand. Write your student a note on scrap paper that he/she threw away. Choosing to do something that is beyond typical is what defines the passion of a person.
